AI visibility rate calculator
You asked AI assistants a set of questions and counted the answers that named your brand. Here is the rate, and how much it could move by chance alone.
Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Notable.
How it works
- AI answers vary from one ask to the next, so a rate from a handful of answers can be far from the truth.
- The margin is a Wilson 95% interval: if you asked many more times, the true rate would fall inside it 19 times in 20.
- It is the same maths, and the same minimums, as every rate in the Notable app.
The background
What an AI visibility rate is
It is the share of AI answers that mention your brand, out of all the answers to questions your customers ask. Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini “best accountant in Porto” forty times and count how often you appear: that count over forty is the rate. It is the AI-search equivalent of a ranking, except there is no fixed position to check.
Why one answer tells you almost nothing
Assistants sample their words, so the same question can name you on Monday and leave you out on Tuesday. A single screenshot is one draw from that spread. Only a rate over many answers, with its margin, says how visible you really are.
How to use the margin
If two intervals do not overlap, the rates almost certainly differ. If they overlap, they may still differ, so use the change test. And if the margin is wider than the change you hope to see, collect more answers before deciding anything.
Want these numbers for your brand, every day?
Notable asks AI assistants your customers' questions daily and shows how often you are recommended, with the margin of error beside every number.
