Did my AI visibility really change?
Your brand was named in 30% of answers last month and 36% this month. Is that progress, or noise? Enter both periods to find out.

How it works
- This is a two-proportion z-test: how often would two periods differ this much if nothing had really changed?
- A change counts only when that chance is under 5% and the change is at least 5 points.
- Notable uses the same test when it flags a change in your weekly email.
The background
Why rates move on their own
Even if nothing about your brand or the assistants changed, two months of answers would rarely give the same rate. The test asks how surprising the difference would be if the true rate had stayed put.
Reading the p-value
A p-value of 0.03 means a gap at least this large would turn up about 3 times in 100 by chance alone. Below 0.05 we call it unlikely to be chance; above, the honest reading is “no evidence of a change yet”, not “no change”.
Why a 5-point floor
With thousands of answers, even a 1-point wobble can pass a significance test. A change that small rarely matters to a business, so Notable also asks for at least 5 points before it calls something a change.
Want these numbers for your brand, every day?
Notable asks AI assistants your customers' questions daily and shows how often you are recommended, with the margin of error beside every number.
